Avatar Extended Featurette
I was so impressed by Avatar when I saw it the first time that I had to go and see it again the next day. And I was even more excited the second time because I already knew what I was going to see, which was something absolutely mind blowing. Avatar is the typical hero’s journey story, so you know basically what’s going to happen during the overall plot, but the story is so well told, and so rich in details that makes it an authentic masterpiece (in my humble opinion, of course). It’s a very enjoyable movie despite its 2h 40min of duration, with a great rhythm, and of course, and the reason why I ‘had’ to post it here, some of the most spectacular CG and VFX that I’ve ever seen. As you probably already heard, nothing like this has been done before, for many reasons. You’ll be able to see some of that in this 22 minutes extended featurette that covers some of the aspects of the creation process. A must see.
